WHO WE ARE

The Reconciliation Education in Action for Cultural Harmony (REACH) Association is anchored in the principles of Indigenous Truth and Reconciliation.

We are devoted educators who believe in the power of creating opportunities for Indigenous and non-Indigenous children in Canada to connect, learn from each other, and lay authentic foundations for friendship and collaboration.

Children also learn together from elders and they work on joint projects such as Our Stories and Identity, The Environment, and Our Connections to the Land.

Grade 3 student:

A grade 2 student rushed to the teacher’s desk at the end of class with a half written note that she quickly finished. “Please put this note in all of the letters we are mailing out today. This is to all of our friends.”

On the note she wrote:
“happy happy year of 2024
